Looting
Access
Section titled “Access”If settings.owner-only is true (default), only the owner can open a grave, unless they have rexgraves.bypass or rexgraves.admin.
Public access
Section titled “Public access”Off by default. When enabled, anyone can open and loot a grave once it is older than after-seconds:
settings: expiration-seconds: 172800 # or 0 to never expire public-access: enabled: true after-seconds: 86400 # 24hExpiration still applies. Set expiration-seconds higher than after-seconds (or 0), otherwise graves expire before they become public. RexGraves logs a warning on startup and reload if they do.
Before the grave is public, other players get the denied-public-in message, which shows how long is left. Use {public_in} in holograms or messages to show the same countdown.
Right-click
Section titled “Right-click”Opens the loot GUI. Items keep their inventory slot layout. Removing items from the GUI updates the grave; empty graves are removed on close.
XP is given when the grave is opened.
Shift-right-click
Section titled “Shift-right-click”Takes everything at once:
- Items go back into matching slots when free
- Leftover stacks fill empty inventory space
- Armor can auto-equip if
auto-equip-armoris true and the slot is empty
If the inventory is full, leftover items stay in the grave (looted-partial).
Auto-loot
Section titled “Auto-loot”settings: auto-loot: trueNormal right-click behaves like shift-loot (no GUI).
Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- Curse of Vanishing — items are destroyed on death (not stored)
- Kept items — stacks other plugins put in
PlayerDeathEvent#getItemsToKeep()stay on the player - Keep inventory — no grave is created
